A finisher that works from below

FREAK AURA takes any source, drums, synths, bass, busses, full loops, and gives it three things: body, dimension and glow.

Where most enhancers smash the signal to feel louder, AURA works differently: it raises density from below, filling the body of the sound while leaving the peaks untouched.

The density engine is bipolar. Turn right and thin material gets fuller and more solid at the same peak level, without the attack getting sharper.

Turn left and the sustain dries out, bringing the transient into relief without EQ surgery. ATTACK runs on its own axis, independent of DENSITY. bipolar, shaping the leading edge of the sound separately. Two things that most processors treat as one, finally split apart.

GLOW adds tube-style saturation (4× oversampled).

DIMENSION widens via Mid/Side above 150 Hz only: the image opens while the sub, kick and bass stay mono and centered. Club-safe and master-safe by design. MIX blends everything in parallel against the untouched original. At neutral settings the signal is bit-transparent.

Your Enhancer Is Lying to You

You push the enhancer and the sound feels bigger, until you level-match and realize it was just louder. Slightly harsher.

And somehow the kick is bleeding into the stereo field. FREAK AURA doesn't work from the top down. No clipping, no fake loudness, no multi-band explosion. It raises density from below, fuller body at the same crest factor, with the transient still intact.

  • You want body without the peaks getting sharper
  • You want punch on a busy loop without touching the EQ
  • You want stereo width that doesn't collapse the low end in mono
  • You want tube warmth that costs zero CPU when you're not using it

🎚️ Density from below, not the top

Raises body by lifting the signal floor up — crest reduces without touching the peaks. Fuller and more solid without becoming harsh or spiky.

↔️ Width only above 150 Hz

Mid/Side widening cuts at 150 Hz. Sub, kick and bass stay mono and centered. Club-safe, master-safe, mono-compatible by design.

🔥 Glow with zero overhead at rest

Tube saturation (tanh, 4×) only engages when GLOW > 0 — true bypass at zero means no oversampling cost when you don't need it.

🎧 FREAK AURA — Before and After

DENSITY, GLOW AND DIMENSION

ARP [BEFORE AND AFTER]

DRUMS [BEFORE AND AFTER]

BASS [BEFORE AND AFTER]

KICK [BEFORE AND AFTER]

BODY. DIMENSION. GLOW.

You've compressed it. You've EQ'd the 80 Hz. You've layered a second kick underneath. In solo it sounds right.. in the mix it still disappears. The problem isn't the peak. It's the body between the transient and the sub that isn't filling the space.

FREAK AURA's density engine doesn't touch the peaks. It raises the floor of the sound filling the middle of the signal while the crest stays intact. The result is a kick/drums/synths that sit in the mix with presence, not just punch.

Add GLOW for warmth.

DIMENSION opens the cymbals and hats while the sub stays locked center. The whole thing breathes without falling apart in mono.
